## ERP readiness assessment

A free 10-question tool that scores readiness to benefit from an ERP implementation now. It takes about five minutes, requires no email address to see the score, and returns a recommendation — including advising against proceeding when that is the honest answer.


## Questions asked

1. **What is your current system situation?** We start with what you already have. This helps us understand whether you are looking at a new implementation, replacing an existing system, or bringing several systems and processes together.
2. **Where does it hurt most today?** ERP should solve real business problems. Understanding where the biggest difficulties are helps identify which processes or business areas should take priority.
3. **How many people work at your organisation?** The size of your organization helps us understand the scale of the implementation, including the number of teams, processes, and people who may need to be involved.
4. **Roughly how many people would use the system?** The number of users is an important part of planning an ERP implementation. With Frappe, you are not paying traditional per-user ERP license fees, but the number and type of users still matter when planning the solution, training, and support.
5. **Which areas need to be covered?** You may need finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, HR, or several of them. That does not mean everything has to go live at once. NXTGEN allows the implementation to be planned and delivered in defined modules.
6. **How would you describe your current data?** Data can make or break a migration. The condition, completeness, and consistency of your existing data affect how much preparation is needed before it can be brought into the new system.
7. **Who is driving this internally?** ERP implementation needs someone inside the business who can help move decisions forward, coordinate the right people, and keep the project connected to business priorities.
8. **When do you want to be live?** Your target date helps determine the scope and delivery approach. Techincglobal's NXTGEN methodology supports staged implementation, so the right timeline depends on what you need to deliver and how much your team can take on at each stage.
9. **Is there budget allocated?** An ERP implementation still requires investment even when there are no traditional software license fees. Your budget needs to account for implementation, customization, integration, training, and ongoing support where required.
10. **Can your team give time to the project?** Your people are an important part of the implementation. They need to help us understand existing processes, review the solution, test it, and prepare for go-live. The more involved the right people are, the better the solution can reflect how the business actually works.

- 80–100 — Ready now: proceed to a scoping conversation and a 12-week programme.
- 62–79 — Nearly ready: close one or two specific gaps first.
- 42–61 — Groundwork first: advisory engagement before implementation.
- Below 42 — Not yet: we would advise waiting and say why.
